Red Gum Burl - From start to finish.

A customer was after a unique piece of furniture. Something that was one of a kind. 

After many phone calls and endless dead ends we finally located someone in Northern Victoria on the Murray River that had Red Gum Burl's for sale.

We took the 4 hour journey and hand selected a piece that had the right shape and size. It weighed over 130 kilos! 

We bought it home and set to work on it.

Once the top layer was sanded back we could see its potential.

 Small legs were secured so as not to take away natural shape of the Burl, but to provide stability and height.

End result. Unique and one of kind.
