Red Gum Buffet - From raw cut timber to masterpiece.

Its rare these days to find a piece of furniture with a history. This one certainly has a history which we would love to share with you. Firstly the red gum slab was hand selected from a saw mill in northern Victoria near the Murray River.

Ancient red gum was used as an inlay. This timber is black in colour due to the tree falling in a swamp approx 9,200 years ago and soaking up all the tannins and silt.
The legs on the ends are recycled Red Gum stumps which once held up the Croydon Theatre.

The final result speaks for itself. One amazing unique piece of Furniture that will last for generations to come.
